Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.

Privacy Statement

The WE Journal – Journal of Sustainability, Education, and Artificial Intelligence Studies (JSE-AISI) respects the privacy of its authors and is committed to protecting their personal information throughout the submission, peer-review, publication, and post-publication processes.

Personal information provided during manuscript submission, including names, email addresses, institutional affiliations, ORCID iDs, and other relevant details, will be used solely for editorial management, peer review, publication, indexing, and communication related to the journal. Such information will not be sold, shared, or disclosed to third parties for commercial purposes.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that all personal information included in their submissions is accurate and that any information relating to co-authors has been provided with their knowledge and consent.

Published articles will include author information as part of the scholarly record, including names, affiliations, ORCID iDs (where provided), and correspondence details as approved during publication. This information is made publicly available to support academic attribution, transparency, and citation.

All submitted manuscripts and related communications remain confidential during the peer-review process. Editors, reviewers, and editorial staff are required to maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts and author information and to use such information only for legitimate editorial purposes.

The journal implements appropriate technical and administrative measures to protect author data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or misuse. Personal information will be retained only for as long as necessary to support publication, indexing, archiving, and compliance with legal and ethical publishing requirements.

By submitting a manuscript to JSE-AISI, authors acknowledge and consent to the collection, processing, storage, and publication of their information in accordance with this Privacy Statement and the journal's editorial policies.
